Kingfish, his stage name, is a blues prodigy well known in his hometown of Clarksdale, MS. He is 16 and has a bright future ahead of him. He was watching another blues group outside a store in Clarksdale when I snapped the photo for this painting which was recently juried into the spring AWA show.
